Crackpot Gourmet
Our Preserves

BaJa Margarita

The name says it all -- it's a jelly that tastes exactly like a margarita. Try pairing it with goat cheese and serving it with crackers: instant appetizer. Olé!

Big Fig Jam

The crowning glory of the Crackpot Gourmet lineup. The figs come from the tree in our yard, and their natural sweetness accounts for a minimal addition of sugar. The result is heaven on toast.

Crantabulous

Perfect for the holidays. This seasonal relish is a blend of fresh cranberries, apples and pears. Once you've tried it, you will agree no turkey or holiday ham is complete without it.

Ginger Zinger

Here's a ginger-lovers' dream. Slivers of ginger float in a sweet, zesty jelly that makes a great sauce for stir-fry or a glaze for fish or meats.

Peachy Keen

In a new twist to an old favorite, we add a splash of blackberry brandy and almond to a mix of white and yellow peaches to create a sublime spread. Spoon over ice cream, granola or yogurt.

 Glasnost Marmalade

Don't let the marmalade angle throw you. While we do have customers who eat this red onion-based spread on toast for breakfast -- no, really! -- it's real strength comes when it's time to grill. Great on a steak, it's equally good on portabella mushrooms, a chicken breast or a humble hamburger.

Kiss of Kerala

Named for the Indian state from which the finest black pepper originates, this amazingly intense strawberry jam is made with roasted berries.

The combination of adding black pepper and a touch of lime juice results in the berriest strawberry jam you're ever likely to taste.

Maine-ly Wild Blueberry

Since a lobster jelly just isn't working, this is the closest taste of the Pine Tree State that you're going to find.

Wild Maine blueberries are enhanced with a touch of orange and vanilla, creating a truly delectable jam.

PepperPot

Some like it hot. And for those who do, this sweet, smoking combination of habaneros and red bell peppers is guaranteed to please. Great served with cream cheese and crackers as an appetizer or used

as a glaze on chicken or pork.

Pie a la Jar

You guessed it -- a jam that tastes like apple pie. Spread it over toast and the blend of apples, cranberries and pie spices will put you right back in grandma's kitchen.

Plum Loco

Here's a rich jam full of plums that boasts a suggestion of vanilla. The combination makes for a sweet start to any morning.
